Penetration seal systems are a highly effective form of passive fire protection (PFP). They are used to thoroughly compartmentalise a building to restrict the spread of fire. Use these fire sealing products to either fill imperfections and gaps between fire-resistant areas. Or, to create a fire-resistant surface thus creating a penetration seal system.
FSi develop penetration system which maintain the fire resistance of a separating element at the position where one or more services pass through or where there is provision for services to pass through a separating elements such as flexible and rigid walls and rigid floors.
FSi Penetration seal systems are tested in Linear Joints up to 50mm wide and large service openings up to 490 x 150mm.
Tested with Metallic Pipes, Cables, Cable Bunches, Cable Trays and Cable Ladders

PipeBloc®PWP Wraps are designed and tested to seal service penetrations in apertures containing combustible plastic pipes.
PipeBloc®PWP has been developed utilizing specialist intumescent technologies which result in the wrap expanding in the presence of heat or fire. This expansion is fast acting and up to 25 times. The expanding collar fills the void left by combusting materials and remains in place, exerting a pressure on the surrounding substrate upholding the fire resistance of the compartment
Certification & Testing

PipeBloc®PCP Collars are designed and tested to seal service penetrations in apertures containing plastic and metallic pipes with or without insulation and on bunches of cables.
PipeBloc®PCP has been developed utilizing specialist intumescent technologies which result in the collar expanding in the presence of heat or fire. This expansion is fast acting and up to 25 times. The expanding collar fills the void left by combusting materials and remains in place, exerting a pressure on the surrounding substrate upholding the fire resistance of the compartment.
PipeBloc®PCP’s ultra-thin design of 30mm or 40mm ensures they can be installed into the tightest of locations, tightly fitting to walls and ceilings. PipeBloc® PCP Collars can be installed on flexible and rigid walls, rigid floor constructions and in Stopseal® Ablative Batt seal, the PCP range will accommodate openings from 32mm to 250mm diameter.
